On February 19, 2010, Raydan Manufacturing Ontario Inc was voluntarily placed into receivership under the direction of privately appointed trustees from Price Waterhouse Coopers.
This move, in no way, reflects the dedication and determination of the employees of the Ontario based operation. Due to economic factors in the Ontario market, on-going losses experienced by the Raydan Manufacturing Ontario Company could no longer be sustained. Management at Raydan will concentrate efforts on its core business - the manufacture and design of world class heavy-duty equipment components. Going forward, Raydan will focus on keeping costs in line with the current economic reality, while operating efficiently and safely. The move to divest of the Ontario operation will have little effect on the Nisku operations or the parent company, Raydan Manufacturing Inc.
Raydan’s Nisku facility will continue as the centre of excellence for engineering, manufacturing, sales and chassis modifications. Management is currently working to expand our customer base and to develop new product lines, which have historically been the most profitable revenue generators for Raydan. This change in our direction will assist in accommodating these new ventures now and into the future.
Raydan’s Nisku operations are poised to handle all manufacturing, twin/tri steer conversion and additional
axle requirement requests and will continue to do so with no interruptions to our valued customers
and/or vendors.
